Hello and a warm welcome to my store. Just a little about myself and my online store. I am passionate about my knitting and I adore everything baby! I consider myself an experienced hand knitter but there are always new techniques and stitches for me to learn. I love knitting Traditional Heirloom Shawls and all kinds of Baby Knitwear and on occasion making my own designs. In my younger years I would knit and correct new patterns for a well known company called Patons & Baldwins they were based in Clackmannanshire but sadly they closed a long time ago. The Heirloom Baby Shawls are knitted with only the best quality yarns. I offer mainly two types of yarns for the Shawls and Baby Garments. 1. Acrylic yarn. 2. Natural yarns - Merino, Alpaca, Cashmere and blends. All Shawls and knitwear are handwashed, dressed (blocked) and gift wrapped and will include washing information/instructions where ever possible. I also knit unique items of knitwear for babies and toddlers, where I make the patterns, if you have something in mind, I will do my utmost to design and knit it for you. Although I knit to order, I occasionally have items ready made in stock. Most items I will be able to make in other sizes or colours, which are usually available within the product information.
